#TBT – Did you catch us on TLC’s “Four Weddings?”

In the spirit of social media’s oh so popular Throwback Thursday, here is one from our archives:

On December 6th, 2012, TLC featured its first lesbian couple on “Four Weddings.” The show features four brides, who attend and rate each others weddings. The winning couple gets an all expenses paid honeymoon.

Davone Madison-Jackson and Tiffany Jackson were featured on the show as the first lesbian couple to compete. Davone was originally featured on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” in April 2011. TLC ended up contacting her a second time to see if she wanted to be featured on “Four Weddings.”

Davone and Tiffany themed their wedding as a Diamond Winter Wonderland. Unfortunately, the couple had some challenges finding wedding businesses that were open to working with them. In an interview with Aryka Randall, Davone stated that they were turned away from several places because of their sexuality. Finer Touch Entertainment gladly helped create the atmosphere for the event by providing DJ services, intelligent lighting, and room decor up lighting.  Davon said that, “It was a dream come true. Finer Touch Entertainment, The Coral House, Wicks Florist, Tristar Limo and everyone else made our day a reality.”

Client Review:
Harold and the whole team at Finer Touch Entertainment were amazing from beginning to end. They were so accommodating to all of our requests and trust me, we had plenty LOL. Whatever you need or are looking for in a DJ, lighting company, and MC, they are the company to go to. They had our crowd dancing and entertained all night long. To this day, we get asked who was the DJ at your wedding because he was fantastic. Thank you Harold for making our day extra special.

It was a pleasure working with Davon and Tiffany and we look forward to providing the soundtrack to your next event!
