Labor Day weekend is here! And you know what that means… Labor Day Music. While many people might be having a family barbecue to toast the end of summer, there are many music-filled events happening across New York. Here are our top 3 picks:

1. West Indian Day Parade: Those who are looking to dance to the island beats can soak up the soca, reggae and calypso that will be blaring down Brooklyn’s Eastern Parkway. From Trinidad to Barbados, the West Indian Day Parade is the time for local and islanders alike to rep their island. For those looking for an extra treat, food vendors line the parkway with local dishes. And if you want to bring the islands to your next party, remember that Finer Touch Entertainments has DJs versed in all the latest Caribbean music and dances. (Monday, September 2nd)

2. Brazilian Day: If Latin beats are more your groove, how about heading to the Brazilian Day Parade? This fiesta starts at 46th street and runs the length of 25 blocks. With all the Samba, food and street vendors, what more can you want from a NYC parade? (Sunday, September 1st)

3. Electric Zoo: Want a three day party? Then Electric Zoo, at NY’s Randall’s Island Park, should be right up your alley. This Labor Day party boasts 5 stages and 125 different acts. Electric music heavy weights like Tiësto and David Guetta will be in full effect, in addition to the likes of Just Blaze and Green Lantern. And just remember Finer Touch Entertainment is here for all of your Labor Day, Caribbean, Latin and Electric music needs.(Friday, August 30th to Sunday, September 1st)
