Many people find that doing a themed wedding is loads of fun. One such wedding theme that people love to do in October (especially for those marrying on the 31st) is to have a Halloween themed wedding. Pulling off this type of theme is a very easy task to accomplish.
For the color scheme, many brides choose to go with the traditional Halloween colors of orange and black. These colors can be used as the main colors or they can be added on as accents to the rest of the décor. For a truly spooky look, ditch the orange and go all out with black.
For food, try a pumpkin flavored menu. Mini pumpkin tarts make a great appetizer and for dinner you can have pumpkin bread accompany the main course. For the perfect dessert everyone is sure to love, miniature pumpkin cheese cakes can’t be beat.
When it comes to the music, there are many songs to choose from. Below are five songs that fit the Halloween theme perfectly and will help people to get dancing.
- Thriller – Michael Jackson
- Dracula’s Wedding – OutKast
- I Put A Spell On You – Screamin’ Jay Hawkins
- Love Potion No 9 – The Clovers
- Knock on Wood – Eddie Floyd
